This 7-string guitar has a 5-piece neck made from Walnut, Purpleheart and Maple. The body is Sapele with a Maple Top which has been stained blue. It has a Birdseye Maple fretboard with brass and ebony inlay fret markers. There are 24 stainless steel frets and a fixed bridge. The neck is a D-shape and extremely comfortable and has a volute. 2 humbuckers with Volume, tone and a 3 way switch. No scarf joint here, all Cobalt guitar necks are made from one block and it is securely bolted on with 4 screws.
